About
From the moment I first drew on newsprint with charcoal, I knew I was an artist. What I have come to know is that each of us has the capacity to create. Expressed or dormant, it exists. That knowing, made real a new ground of communication for me.
The process of making is the heart and joy of my art life. I have learned that simple, common objects have architecture and resonance deeper than what appears in our passing glance. Painting offers me an opportunity to slow down, take a good look, and experience wonder.
